Our Faith
We Believe:
that the Holy Bible in its entirety, all sixty-six books, is the inspired Word of God, infallible, inerrant, timeless Truth, and the basis of Christian faith and living;
that God is the Holy Trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, equal in glory and dignity, the Creator and Master of the universe;
that Jesus Christ is the Son in the Holy Trinity, the Savior of mankind, and full God and full man; that He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of virgin Mary, bore the sin of the world, was crucified and died on the cross, was raised up from the dead in three days, ascended to heaven, and will return to judge the world;
that the Holy Spirit is the Counselor, who indwells believers to inspire, edify, guide, comfort and empower them;
that a person is saved by grace through faith; that any person who confesses his/her sins, repents, and accepts Jesus as his/her Savior will be saved;
that the church is the body of Christ, made of baptized, born-again believers with Christ as its head; and
that the church observes two ordinances, namely, Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, which are symbols of salvation.
We Hold:
that autonomy of the local church should be protected and religious liberty of individuals be respected; that the church should not be involved in civil affairs and the civil government should not interfere with the church’s internal matters; that the church, nevertheless, is responsible for following civil laws; and that all believers as royal priesthood are equal both in salvation and in rank to ministries.
We Affirm:
