Acts 21:1-40; 22:1-30<\/span><\/p>\n

Verses 1-6\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Paul and his friends spent 7 days with the Tyrian Christians.\u00a0 The Holy Spirit revealed to some of these believers the dangers Paul would encounter at Jerusalem.\u00a0 They interpreted this prophecy to mean that Paul should not continue on. Paul’s determination to go on to Jerusalem was not disobedience to the Holy Spirit. \u00a0 In Acts 19:21, Paul, through the Spirit, had decided to go to Jerusalem and it was the fruit of the deep inward constraint of the Holy Spirit that kept him going.\u00a0 Again we see the deep love the believers had for Paul as they knelt on the beach and prayed together before the group left for Caesarea.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Verses 7-16<\/span><\/p>\n

Philip the Evangelist, who led the Ethiopian to the Lord in Acts 8, was one of the seven chosen with Stephen as leaders in Acts 6.\u00a0 The prophecy of Agabus while at Philip’s again confirmed the trouble awaiting Paul in Jerusalem and prepared him for it. The weeping and pleading of the people in Caesarea began to weaken Paul’s spiritual resolve to go on.\u00a0 He begged them to stop before their love deflected him from God’s purpose. This reminds us of the Lord’s words to Peter when he tried to keep Jesus from going to Jerusalem and the Cross (Matthew 16:22-23) <\/span>We must not let the fears of other Christians or loved ones hinder us from a missionary call or God’s appointed task.\u00a0 They might see the suffering or sacrifice but not the blessing God will bring through this call.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Verses 17-26<\/span><\/p>\n

Paul is now at the end of his third missionary journey.\u00a0 At last he is reunited with the Jerusalem believers and greeted warmly.\u00a0 They rejoiced as he reported the details of what God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry.\u00a0 But great caution was exhibited and he joined in the purification rites as to not cause the weak Jewish Christians to stumble<\/span><\/p>\n

Verses 27-40<\/span><\/p>\n

Just before the seven days of the purification rite were over, some Jews from Asia stirred up the whole crowd against Paul.\u00a0 The city was in an uproar and Paul was seized and beaten with the intent to kill him. The commander of the Roman troops intervened by arresting Paul and having him bound in chains.\u00a0 The mob was so violent that the soldiers had to carry him. Paul spoke to the commander and was allowed to address the crowd in Chapter 22.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the secret of Paul’s serenity?\u00a0 It would have been easy to say “If only I had not come…” or “This is so unfair…”\u00a0 Or he could have just stayed in Tyre or Caesarea. But Paul KNEW that he was in Jerusalem by the will of God.\u00a0 God had allowed this to happen. Paul went directly to God. He knew God had purpose in the trial. His first thought was, “How can I use the difficulty, this opportunity to serve God?” ( Acts 21:39)<\/span><\/p>\n

God has purpose in our trials too.\u00a0 I need to see struggles as Paul did – as opportunities to trust and serve God.\u00a0 His Word changes us, gives us hope and truth so that we can learn to see our struggles through the Light of the Savior, not the darkness of the world.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0—- Mary Mauderer<\/span><\/p>\n

\u4fdd\u7f85\u5728\u5b8c\u6210\u7b2c\u4e09\u6b21\u6d77\u5916\u5ba3\u6559\u4e4b\u65c5\uff0c\u5f9e\u54e5\u6797\u591a\u56de\u5230\u8036\u8def\u6492\u51b7\u8207\u6559\u6703\u7684\u9577\u8001\u3001\u773e\u4f7f\u5f92\u76f8\u805a\u5718\u5951\uff0c\u96d6\u7136\u5148\u77e5\u4e9e\u8fe6\u5e03\u9810\u544a\u4fdd\u7f85\u6709\u6346\u9396\u4e4b\u96e3\u3002\u4f46\u4fdd\u7f85\u53d7\u8056\u9748\u5145\u6eff\uff0c\u6709\u4e3b\u8036\u7a4c\u57fa\u7763\u8207\u4ed6\u540c\u5728\uff0c\u4fe1\u5fc3\u5805\u5b9a\uff0c\u5927\u6709\u52c7\u6562\uff0c\u4e0d\u61fc\u5371\u96e3\uff0c\u7518\u9858\u70ba\u4e3b\u53d7\u82e6\u3002\u4e8b\u5be6\u4e0a\u4ed6\u5728\u4e9e\u7d30\u4e9e\uff0f\u571f\u8033\u5176\u906d\u9047\u904e\u591a\u6b21\u653b\u64ca\uff0c\u751a\u81f3\u88ab\u77f3\u982d\u6253\u5230\u534a\u6b7b\uff0c\u4f46\u4ed6\u4ecd\u7136\u5805\u6301\u8981\u70ba\u4e3b\u50b3\u660e\u771f\u9053\u2500\u2500\u8036\u7a4c\u662f\u57fa\u7763\uff0f\u5f4c\u8cfd\u4e9e\u3002<\/p>\n

\u679c\u7136\uff0c\u6709\u5f9e\u4e9e\u7d30\u4e9e\uff08\u571f\u8033\u5176\uff09\u4f86\u7684\u7336\u592a\u4eba\uff0c\u8073\u52d5\u8036\u8def\u6492\u51b7\u7684\u7336\u592a\u4eba\uff0c\u4ee5\u4fdd\u7f85\u5728\u6d77\u5916\u50b3\u57fa\u7763\u6551\u6069\u798f\u97f3\uff0c\u5e36\u9818\u5916\u90a6\u4eba\u7688\u4fe1\u57fa\u7763\u537b\u4e0d\u5fc5\u53d7\u5272\u79ae\uff0c\u56b4\u91cd\u7684\u9055\u53cd\u7336\u592a\u4eba\u7684\u898f\u77e9\u70ba\u7531\uff0c\u6b63\u8981\u6bba\u5bb3\u4fdd\u7f85\u3002
\n\u7f85\u99ac\u99d0\u8ecd\u7684\u5343\u592b\u9577\u4f86\u5230\u73fe\u5834\u5e73\u4e82\uff0c\u7f85\u99ac\u8ecd\u5175\u6551\u4e86\u4fdd\u7f85\u4e0d\u88ab\u6bba\u5bb3\uff0c\u4f46\u8981\u67e5\u660e\u4e8b\u6545\u7de3\u7531\uff0c\u4fdd\u7f85\u8981\u6c42\u8aaa\u660e\u771f\u76f8\u2500\u2500<\/p>\n

\u4fdd\u7f85\u7528\u5e0c\u4f2f\u4f86\u8a71\u5411\u7336\u592a\u4eba\u8aaa\uff0c\u6211\u8ddf\u4f60\u5011\u662f\u4e00\u6a23\u7684\uff0c\u539f\u672c\u4e5f\u662f\u903c\u8feb\u57fa\u7763\u5f92\u7684\uff01\u9996\u5148\u5c31\u722d\u53d6\u4e86\u7336\u592a\u4eba\u7684\u8a8d\u540c\u2500\u2500
\n\u300c\u6211\u539f\u662f\u7336\u592a\u4eba\uff0c\u751f\u5728\u57fa\u5229\u5bb6\u7684\u5927\u6578\uff0c\u9577\u5728\u9019\u57ce\u88cf\uff0c\u5728\u8fe6\u746a\u5217\u9580\u4e0b\uff0c\u6309\u8457\u6211\u5011\u7956\u5b97\u56b4\u7dca\u7684\u5f8b\u6cd5\u53d7\u6559\uff0c\u71b1\u5fc3\u4e8b\u5949\u795e\uff0c\u50cf\u4f60\u5011\u773e\u4eba\u4eca\u65e5\u4e00\u6a23\u3002\u6211\u4e5f\u66fe\u903c\u8feb\u5949\u9019\u9053\u7684\u4eba\uff0c\u76f4\u5230\u6b7b\u5730\uff0c\u7121\u8ad6\u7537\u5973\u90fd\u9396\u62ff\u4e0b\u76e3\u3002\u300d\u751a\u81f3\u2500\u2500
\n\u7576\u8036\u7a4c\u57fa\u7763\u7684\u898b\u8b49\u4eba\u53f8\u63d0\u53cd\u88ab\u5bb3\u6d41\u8840\u7684\u6642\u5019\uff0c\u4fdd\u7f85\u4e5f\u7ad9\u5728\u65c1\u908a\u6b61\u559c\uff0c\u53c8\u770b\u5b88\u5bb3\u6b7b\u4ed6\u4e4b\u4eba\u7684\u8863\u88f3\u3002\uff08\u5f927:58\uff09
\n\u4fdd\u7f85\u6beb\u7121\u81bd\u602f\u7684\uff0c\u7e7c\u7e8c\u8aaa\u660e\u8036\u7a4c\u662f\u57fa\u7763\uff0c\u4e26\u4e14\u89aa\u81ea\u5411\u4ed6\u986f\u73fe\uff0c\u63c0\u9078\u4ed6\u4f5c\u5411\u5916\u90a6\u4eba\u50b3\u798f\u97f3\u7684\u4f7f\u5f92\u3002<\/p>\n

\u9019\u4e0b\u537b\u662f\u6fc0\u6012\u4e86\u7336\u592a\u4eba\uff0c\u539f\u662f\u903c\u8feb\u57fa\u7763\u5f92\u7684\u7336\u592a\u4eba\uff0c\u73fe\u5728\u537b\u662f\u50b3\u8036\u7a4c\u662f\u57fa\u7763\u7684\u7336\u592a\u4eba\uff0c\u9084\u8981\u6307\u51fa\u7336\u592a\u4eba\u5c0d\u8036\u548c\u83ef\u7368\u4e00\u771f\u795e\u8a8d\u8b58\u7684\u932f\u8aa4\uff0c\u7336\u592a\u4eba\u8c48\u80fd\u5bb9\u4ed6\u5b58\u6d3b\u3002\u7fa4\u8d77\u55a7\u56b7\uff1a\u300c\u9019\u6a23\u7684\u4eba\uff0c\u5f9e\u4e16\u4e0a\u9664\u6389\u4ed6\u5427\uff01\u4ed6\u662f\u4e0d\u7576\u6d3b\u8457\u7684\u3002\u300d<\/p>\n

\u4e3b\u8036\u7a4c\u57fa\u7763\u7684\u4f5c\u70ba\u771f\u662f\u4f55\u7b49\u5947\u5999\uff0c\u7942\u63c0\u9078\u4fdd\u7f85\uff0c\u4e00\u500b\u751f\u4f86\u5c31\u662f\u7336\u592a\u88d4\u7684\u7f85\u99ac\u516c\u6c11\uff0c\u4e00\u500b\u5728\u8036\u8def\u6492\u51b7\u6cd5\u5229\u8cfd\u4eba\u4e2d\u6700\u56b4\u683c\u7684\u8fe6\u746a\u5217\u9580\u4e0b\u53d7\u6559\u7684\u6cd5\u5229\u8cfd\u4eba\uff0c\u4e00\u500b\u66fe\u7d93\u662f\u903c\u8feb\u57fa\u7763\u5f92\u7684\u4eba\uff0c\u537b\u53c8\u662f\u89aa\u8eab\u7d93\u6b77\u4e3b\u8036\u7a4c\u57fa\u7763\u986f\u73fe\u8207\u795e\u8e5f\u7684\u4eba\u3002
\n\u65e2\u662f\u5c0d\u820a\u7d04\u5f8b\u6cd5\u5afb\u719f\uff0c\u53c8\u78ba\u77e5\u8036\u7a4c\u662f\u795e\u7684\u7368\u751f\u5152\u5b50\uff0c\u70ba\u62ef\u6551\u4e16\u4eba\u800c\u5728\u5341\u5b57\u67b6\u5b8c\u6210\u6551\u8d16\uff0c\u5f9e\u6b7b\u88e1\u5fa9\u6d3b\u7684\u771f\u7406\uff1b
