The poet encourages us to look upon His deliverance.<br \/>\nWho shall separate us from the love of Christ?<br \/>\nShall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?<br \/>\nPaul responded this Psalm with his letters and his life. How about us?<\/p>\n<p>Acts 13:1-52<\/p>\n<p>Chapter 13 recorded the beginning of apostle Paul&#8217;s mission travels. Called by Spirit and supported by the church at Antioch, Paul and Barnabas started their journey of sharing the message of salvation, especially with Gentiles.<\/p>\n<p>Paul&#8217;s message in the synagogue in Pisidian Antioch on that Sabbath day hit home hard for the Israelites as a turning point.<br \/>\nFor the believing Jews, it was the good news with God&#8217;s promise since their forefathers&#8217; time.<br \/>\nFor the unbelieving Jews, it hardened their hearts with the results of jealousy and adversary.<br \/>\nIn verse 46, Paul and Barnabas boldly answered that although God gave the Israelites His word first, they rejected it and also rejected the salvation; the opportunities now turn to the Gentiles.<\/p>\n<p>Lord, thank you for giving the wild olive trees a chance.<br \/>\nThank you for receiving us through the work of your beloved son.<br \/>\nMay we all be reminded by this saving grace and lead our lives according to your words.
